Coaching is about more than just taking you through the motions, a good coach is highly skilled at technique, the ability to give cues, programming, motivation, and able to handle any situation. A great coach can take all of those things and motivate an athlete to become the highest expression of their strength, power, performance and health. Our coaches aren’t just good, they’re great and they create great athletes. Each one of our coaches has a unique personality and we love them to be themselves while coaching. At TriPoint Athletics you won’t find our coaches screaming in your face and telling you you can’t drink water. Our coaches meet you where you are and help you reach your goals.

I have a master’s degree in exercise science from Cleveland State University, played baseball at Lake Catholic high school and always liked working out. When I saw the CrossFit Games on ESPN one year, I did some research on it and I was hooked. I decided to become a coach when I was working at SPIRE in Geneva and training athletes. I loved coaching athletes and could not think of anything better to do than help others achieve their goals. In my free time I like to play golf and I am a self proclaimed “master chef”, I use my Green Egg and cook for my wife Emily, my daughter Olivia, and my son Calvin. I attended Baldwin Wallace, Old Dominion University and Eastern Michigan University. I finally graduated from Eastern Michigan and became a teacher! I played volleyball and ran track in high school and continue to play volleyball now when I get the chance. Ben and I have two children, Grayson, who will be in the U.S. Army and Gabrielle, who will be heading to Slippery Rock University to play volleyball. I started coaching because I love working with people and helping them meet their goals and I wanted to help kids be active and healthy. Outside of the gym, I enjoy cooking, crafts, warm weather sports, and hanging out with friends and family.

I am currently a student at Bowling Green State University studying Nutrition & Dietetics! Previously, I played volleyball for Riverside High school. I was introduced to TriPoint when I was a freshman in high school and used it as a way to stay in shape for volleyball. I eventually fell in love with it and haven’t been able to stop since. TriPoint has helped me find my passion for health and fitness and led me on a path to better myself and others around me. I became a coach because I wanted to do the same for others that my coaches have done for me. Outside of TriPoint I enjoy spending time with family, friends and my dog, boating, cooking and of course shopping.

I grew up in Montville, Ohio, and graduated with a class of 46 from Ledgemont HS. I graduated from Lake Erie College and then Case Western Reserve’s Weatherhead School of Management. I have two boys who play hockey, lacrosse, and soccer. When I’m not spending time with them, I’m usually with friends or catching up on my favorite TV shows. I got involved with Fitness through my sister who was getting so strong and I knew I needed to try something different. I’ve spent my entire life obsessed with health and fitness and coaching was a way for me to incorporate my passion for helping others achieve their best version of themselves. It is my favorite hour of every day!

I graduated from Lake Catholic High School where I played Lacrosse and continued with the sport at Ohio University. Now, I enjoy intramural volleyball and softball when I’m not spending time with my family or traveling.
I got involved in Fitness because I was the only child in my family not doing it and felt left out (middle child syndrome). I always did endurance sports on my own, but as soon as I tried Metcons, I knew this had a lot more variety and challenge and I’ve always loved that competitive edge. I’ve been a personal trainer and taught bootcamp classes for 6 years so I knew once I was comfortable and confident with 2 years of Training under my belt I wanted to teach. Also, fitness coaches are so encouraging and inspiring, I wanted to help change peoples lives.
I love to see people get stronger mentally and physically. I also really enjoy meeting new people and seeing how much they can grow in confidence and learn new things.

I went to Mentor High School and Lakeland Community College. I played lacrosse and now enjoy watching and attending sporting events. I got hooked with TriPoint after stopping in for a Saturday workout. I know I’m not always the best at doing the movements, but I feel that I can spot faults and give people good tips to fix those faults. TriPoint gives me an opportunity to learn more about something I enjoy. I am also able to give people the same experience I received when starting.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2009 and was on the golf team. I currently play recreational basketball and softball and enjoy doing that in my spare time. I found myself helping other athletes during/after a workout, so I figured I would get certified and become a coach. My favorite part about being a coach is teaching people a new movement they never thought they could do and seeing the look of excitement on their face as they achieve it.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
I came from Perry High School where I swam, ran cross country and track. I graduated from Kent State University with a Criminal Justice degree. I coached track at Perry High School for eight years where I was fortunate enough to coach 4 individual state championships in the hurdles.
I was introduced to Crossfit several years ago when I was tired of doing the same workout routine every day. I was always very interested in fitness but Crossfit provided that competitive edge I had been missing since high school. Since becoming a member at Tripoint I feel like I have blossomed in life. I have become more confident, made life long friends and have found a passion for fitness and helping people reach their potential both inside and out of the gym. I decided to become a coach because I wanted to help others and see people reach their goals. I love being coach and seeing people get stronger both mentally and physically. Outside of the gym I love spending time with my family, my dogs and going on hikes.
